My husband and I have two great kids; a 15 year old boy, a 10 year old girl, and two orange cats. For fun my family enjoys taking small trips, playing video games or playing board games. In my downtime I enjoy reading or listening to audiobooks and doing puzzles.

Teaching is my second career. I was in insurance, medical claims, and billing originally but when we started our family I went back to school for my CDA and then my B.A. in Elementary Education. I continued to substitute teach while in college the second time and fell in love with Tucker Elementary. I finished my student teaching in 5th grade and taught 5th grade full time for three years before finding my happy place in preschool. My favorite subject is reading. My favorite part of the school day is center time as I build relationships with my students.

I am so excited to have Mrs. Crosby as my co-teacher this year. She and I share a passion for gaming and reading and we can't wait to see what the year ahead holds!
