Welcome to Fifth grade! My name is Mrs. Locke. I am a retired military wife and mom of two daughters, Savannah and Briana, who are both now in high school. I have two dogs, Lady and Layla, four cats, Emmy, Gizmo, Meeko, and Smokey, several chickens, and two turkeys.

I am going into my fourth year at Tucker and am so thankful to have been named Teacher of the Year for the 2023-2024 school year! I have been in education for 10 years, 6 of those years spent in Virginia in interrelated K-5. For the past three years, I taught Kindergarten at Tucker. I graduated from Liberty University and have a Bachelor's degree in general and special education. I also have a Master’s of Arts degree in special education from Liberty and a Master’s of Education in curriculum and instruction. I am currently working on my Specialist of Education in Advanced Educational Studies degree program.
